As part of line up of programs to commemorate its 20 years of managing markets the Federal capital city of Abuja, E4HDI, in collaboration with the Abuja Markets Management Limited (AMML), embarked on a 3-day outreach activities to mark the occasion. The sensitization and screening programs, commenced from the palace of the Sa’payi of Garki Chiefdom on Monday, February 10, 2025 and extended to the Garki Old Market and Kado Fish Market, on February 11 and 12, 2025, respectively.
The E4DHI team successfully screened a total of 352 persons and sensitized over 2000 individuals, ensuring that vital health information and preventive screenings reached those in need.
The enthusiasm of the market community was palpable with many requesting for the team to return for more as soon as possible. Efforts are ongoing with AMML for more collaboration and further partnerships to reach out to the many other market communities in the Federal Capital Territory (FCT).
