What we do
+ Policy
Policy is a critical instrument for ensuring that majority of the population benefit from health-promoting and life-saving interventions. To achieve our goal of addressing environmental and social determinants of health, E4HDI drives policy action in critical public sector organizations through advocacy, partnership/collaboration and community engagement. In the same way we encourage and assist private sector organizations, small and medium scale enterprises to implement relevant extant policies, as well as institute custom workplace health frameworks to ensure healthy work environment and a healthy workforce.
+ Programmes
Relying on the core value of evidence-based interventions, E4HDI develop and implement high impact programmes targeted at different segments of the population to address a wide range of public health issues. Our programmes cut across the continuum of care, environment and health systems strengthening and ranging from risk factors of non-communicable diseases to water and sanitation, climate change awareness and mitigation, and integration of management of uncomplicated Non-communicable diseases at Primary Health Centres.

To sustain the development and implementation of cutting-edge policies and programmes, E4HDI prioritizes innovations through research. To this end, we partner with local and international organizations, academic and research institutions and individuals to undertake operations and implementation research, impact evaluation and other forms of research in various areas of programme development and implementation.

Service gaps exist in several areas of our expertise for individuals, private organizations and communities who fail to access them due to ignorance of where to get quality services, prohibitive costs, lack of confidentiality/mistrust of providers, conspiracy theories, amongst others. To meet these needs, E4HDI provides a range of services for individuals, organizations, groups and communities, on consultancy and other basis including but not limited to:
